Terms of Service

By accessing or using GoBookIt, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

GoBookIt provides an online directory connecting homeowners with home service professionals. We do not perform contracting work and are not a party to agreements between users and listed businesses.

Listings, ratings, and reviews are provided for informational purposes. You are responsible for verifying licenses, insurance, pricing, and suitability before hiring any contractor.

Business owners and users who create accounts must provide accurate information and keep credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Browsing the GoBookIt directory, searching for contractors, and requesting quotes are free for homeowners. The paid products are business listing plans. All plan prices are in US dollars (USD) and all payments are processed by PayPal.

• Starter — $29 per month
• Professional — $79 per month
• Pro Plan — $99 per month
• Featured — $149 per month
• Enterprise — $299 per month
• Lifetime Access — $999 as a one-time payment. This plan is charged once only, is never renewed, and is not billed again

The Free plan costs nothing and so is never charged. Every other monthly plan listed above is a recurring subscription: PayPal charges the plan price automatically once every month, and those charges continue every month until you cancel the subscription.

A plan is activated only after our servers confirm the payment or subscription with PayPal. Returning from the PayPal checkout page on its own does not activate a plan.

You can stop future renewals at any time. On the "Current plan" card on your subscription page ( /dashboard/subscription), select "Cancel at period end". You can also cancel the subscription in your PayPal account. Either action stops future monthly renewals. The period you have already paid for continues until the end of that period.

Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, to the extent permitted by applicable law. The same applies to the one-time Lifetime Access payment once the plan has been delivered: that purchase is not a monthly subscription and is never charged again, and it is generally non-refundable after delivery, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Cancelling is not the same as asking for a refund. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund a payment you have already made. If you want the current period refunded, email gobookit.in@gmail.com and say that you are requesting a refund: a cancellation request is not a refund request, and refund requests are reviewed separately by our support team.

If a charge fails, if you are charged twice for the same purchase, if you see a charge you do not recognise, or if a paid plan does not work as described, email gobookit.in@gmail.com with the PayPal transaction reference shown in your PayPal account. We investigate duplicate and erroneous charges and correct them where they are ours to correct. We do not obstruct a dispute, chargeback, or refund you raise directly with PayPal, and we do not refuse a refund that applicable law requires us to make.

Nothing in this section limits or removes rights you have under applicable law, including consumer protection rights, or your rights under PayPal's policies and the PayPal User Agreement. Where applicable law requires a different outcome, applicable law prevails.

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or reviews
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute directory data without permission
• Interfere with site security or availability
• Use the platform for unlawful purposes

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of listings or that any contractor will meet your expectations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoBookIt and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the directory or interactions with listed businesses.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
